Topokki (Korean Rice Cake)

Recipe for 2 servings

Main ingredients:
150g Youngmi topokki sauce
150g Sing Long rice cake
Anchovy stock
 
Additional ingredients:
Kimchi
Fishcake
Egg
Carrot
Cucumber
Instant ramen
 
Garnish (optional):
Red/Green chili, thinly sliced
Roasted white sesame seeds
Chopped spring onion
 
Rinse rice cake in cold water
Drain and set aside
Prepare stock (250ml)
Add rice cake with stock and cook on medium heat till water boils
Lower the heat and simmer for 2 minutes
Add additional ingredients (according to personal preference)
Add sauce and simmer for 1 minute
Turn to low heat and simmer until sauce has thickens and rice cake is cooked
Remove from heat and garnish
